The Gadsden Flag

Short. Bold. To the point.

Harrison C. is a Texas native with this awesome sticker on the back window of his truck.

White Plains flag

Harrison's sticker. Short. Bold. To the point.

I asked Harrison if I could include his full name and location in this post, but he replied that doing so would be a security risk. He’s currently serving in Iraq with a Special Forces unit.

I also asked him what the symbol means to him. He says, “It’s a reminder to me. The way the United States was in the beginning. They way they HAD to be, and the way that we should be again …

“When I see it, I read ‘Don’t mess with me’ or ‘Don’t tread on me, mother f*cker.’

“Short. Bold. To the point. It summed up the United States in four words.”

I Love it!!! I’ve been looking for b&w vector clipart to reproduce vinyl stickers to give to my friends. Any idea where I can obtain this artwork?
    Sincerely

I just wanted to know where he got this awesome decal. I’d like one for my truck.

In response to Eric and Joe above … another reader asked the exact same thing. He e-mailed me, “I am a member of the US Army serving my second tour in Iraq, 3rd if you count Desert Storm. Where did the SF guy get that huge dont tread on me window sticker? I plan on ordering a flag and flying it so other guys can see the true symbol of our nation. Thanks for all you do, SFC Bryan White.” Since it was custom made for Harrison I asked him where he had it done. Harrison replied to Bryan, “He has a website http://www.bighorn-graphics.com“. I’d like to say I have vector clip art that would make it easy for anyone to do the same thing, but the only clip art I have is raster, i.e. in pixels.

I value this symbol of independence from government intrusion on our civil rights. It reflects the strength each of us has and the right each of us has to privacy and the ability to control our own lives, physically, socially and religiously.
