Don't Tread on Me
My recommendation for where to buy a Gadsden flag is FlagLine, a small business based in Colorado. I've known the owner, Josef, for many years now. I've sent thousands of people to him (seriously) since 2001 and have never heard a complaint. And my own dealings with him have been very positive.
Plus, FlagLine has the best prices.
FlagLine sells four different Gadsden flags:
- 3' x 5' polyester flag for $13.00
- 3' x 5' triple-knit polyester flag for $18.00
- 3' x 5' nylon flag for $36.00
- 2' x 3' nylon version for $26.00
The difference between the polyester and nylon versions is quality. The polyester flags are less durable. Polyester is probably fine if you just want to hang it on a wall, but it's recommended that you buy a nylon flag if you want to fly it outdoors.
FlagLine's shipping is about $4 or $5, and they usually ship flags the same day they get the order. They accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Googlecheckout, PayPal, checks, etc. Click here to order.
Yours in liberty,
P.S. FlagLine also offers the First Navy Jack (an uncoiled snake on thirteen red and white stripes) and Culpeper/Culpepper Minutemen (a white flag similar to the Gadsden but including the "Liberty or Death" motto) styles of the Don't Tread on Me flag.
P.P.S. If you want to check a competitor, or if FlagLine is out of stock, check the Gadsden and Culpeper American Heritage Shoppe. They sell also sell polyester Gadsden and Culpeper flags, and nylon Gadsden flags. In a snail-mail note I got from them around September 2001, Pat wrote that the "words and ideals of our founding fathers have helped me keep a clear head in the current chaos." That shows they kind of guys they are.
